Description
After Midnight is comprised of three progressive etudes, all composed between the sleep-deprived hours of 12:00AM and 3:00AM. The first consists of a mash-up of warm-up routines and practice routines that quickly transgress through multiple genres. The second slowly decays in a minimalistic nature as it prepares the performer for the barbarity of the last. The third and final etude explores extended techniques to include multiphonics, mutes, and percussive body movement.
